By using Goal Timer, you agree to these terms. In short: the app is free to use, yours to keep on your device, and provided as-is. Please use it responsibly, and note that you are responsible for your own data.

1. Acceptance of these terms

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Goal Timer application and this website (together, "the Service"). By downloading, installing, or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. The Service

Goal Timer is a tool for tracking the time you invest in your personal goals. It lets you create goals, run timers, record and edit sessions, and view your progress. The app stores your data locally on your device; please see our Privacy Policy for details.

3. Licence to use

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Service for your own personal, non-commercial purposes, subject to these Terms and to the terms of the app store from which you obtained the app.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the app, except where such restriction is prohibited by law.
Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law or regulation.
Redistribute, sell, rent, or sublicense the app or represent it as your own.
Interfere with or attempt to disrupt the integrity or security of the Service.

5. Your content and data

The goals, timers, and other information you create belong to you. Because this data is stored locally on your device, you are solely responsible for it, including keeping your own backups. We do not store, access, or have the ability to recover your data. Uninstalling the app or losing your device may permanently delete your data.

6. Price and availability

Goal Timer is currently offered free of charge. We may change the features offered, or introduce paid features in the future, and we may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time without liability to you.

7. Intellectual property

The Service, including its name, logo, design, and software, is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks or branding except as needed to use the Service as intended.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that timing data will always be perfectly accurate. You use the Service at your own risk.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, or for any loss of data, arising out of or relating to your use of, or inability to use, the Service.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
