Privacy Policy

Goal Timer is built to work entirely on your device. It has no accounts, no sign-in, no analytics, and no advertising. We don't run servers that store your information, and your goals and timers never leave your phone unless you choose to share them.

1. Who we are

Goal Timer ("the app", "we", "us") is an independent mobile and web application for tracking the time you invest in your goals. This policy explains what information the app handles and how it is protected. If you have any questions, contact us at vladislavnedodaiev.uae@gmail.com.

2. The short version

Everything you create in Goal Timer — your goals, timers, sessions and settings — is stored locally on your device. We do not collect it, we cannot see it, and it is not transmitted to us or to any third party.

3. Information the app stores on your device

To do its job, Goal Timer saves the following on your device only:

Goals you create — their names, colours, target hours, and whether they are one-time or recurring.
Time sessions — the start and stop timestamps and durations you record, including any edits you make.
Progress and history — accumulated totals and past periods used to show your statistics.
App preferences — such as your choice of light or dark mode.

This data lives in the app's local database on your device. It is not uploaded to us, and we have no access to it.

4. Information we do not collect

We do not require an account, email address, or password.
We do not use analytics, tracking, or advertising SDKs.
We do not collect your name, location, contacts, photos, or device identifiers.
We do not sell or share any personal information, because we don't have any.

5. Device permissions

Goal Timer may ask for a small number of permissions so its core features work. These are used only on your device and only for the purpose described:

Notifications — to show an ongoing notification for each running timer so you can see and stop it from the notification shade.
Run in background / foreground service — to keep timers accurate while the app is not in the foreground.
Home-screen widget — to start, stop, and glance at your timers from your home screen.

These permissions do not send any information off your device.

6. Data storage and security

Because your data is stored locally, its security is tied to your device. We recommend using your device's screen lock and keeping your operating system up to date. If you uninstall the app, the data it stored on your device is removed by the operating system.

7. Backups

Depending on your device settings, your operating system (for example, iCloud or Android Backup) may include the app's data in your device backups. Those backups are controlled by you and your platform provider under their privacy terms, not by us.

8. Children's privacy

Goal Timer does not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including children. The app is suitable for general audiences and stores its data only on the user's device.

9. Changes to this policy

If we update this policy, we will revise the "Last updated" date above and post the new version on this page. Material changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
